A well made bag in a lovely colour. Perfect size for carrying a purse, sunglasses, keys ,a small water bottle etc.
This is my second backpack in this style. It's the perfect size and shape for keeping stuff tidy. I've had other backpacks but this one is my favourite.
Really pleased with my classic canvas across body bag. It's just the right size to be able to carry all sorts of things including my small diary, phone, keys, glasses, head torch, wallet, pens etc etc. I love the discreet but characterful styling. The fabric feels sturdy though time will tell on that. I had a similar bag from a competitor which was falling apart within a year but I have high hopes that this one will be long-lasting. Thanks Troop, I may well be back for more!
Searching to replace an old leather back pack style handbag I finally found Troop. Appealing to the eye and holding a shape that means things don’t get lost inside this small version of the back pack is just brilliant. Lots of pockets, really sturdy zips and a tough canvas that feels it will last for ages. Light weight, strong and with adjustable straps really easy to get on and off.
The quality is very good and delivered promptly.
I have one of your troop bags and have had a lot of comments about how good it looks. I have bought a similar style for my daughter’s birthday and although she hasn’t received it yet I know she will love the smart appearance and touches of leather. A very practical and elegant range of bags
Bought this bag for days out when I want to carry my Kindle, a bottle of water and my purse, keys etc. and it's exactly what I was looking for. Really well made, exactly as shown on the website. Might consider the same in another colour!
Colour is amazing and quality as usual is top hotch. It’s just a shame the front inside pocket under the flap is not very deep when unzipped so have to be careful if you have put any loose items in it. Otherwise I love the bad.
I was looking specifically for a canvas laptop bag whose cost wasn't eye-watering and was of a useful design. This one seems well made, looks good in charcoal and fits the bill - comfortable to carry, easy to get to my stuff and plenty of room for any additional files, chargers, leads etc. etc. and I can get a 500ml water bottle into the side pockets. So far, I'm very pleased with it. Also, buying from the website is straightforward - no faff - and delivery was within a couple of days.
Feels really high quality and durable. Fits my chunky CAD laptop pretty easily.
Shame it doesn't also have a handle in addition to the strap

The bag is very stiff and difficult to use.
The bag is fine even though the colour isn't as described or as shown. It's not ash grey. I would describe it as light sage. A green, definitely not a grey. Luckily I like it even though it's not as expected. As a long time fan of Troop it's not put me off but the disparity has made me a bit wary.
Happy with everything but colour pink seems to be closer to peach.
This is the third rucsack I have ordered from Troop, nothing compares to the quality and design. They are robust and stand up to the harsh treatment of everyday use. Well made with many very useful sections. Product was dispatched well packaged and prompt delivery. If you want a proper backpack instead of a flimsy designer badged version then look no further.

My purse fits nicely in the front pocket where I can put my hand on easily.
Burgundy colour is beautiful against the tan leather trim.

I sort of went out on a limb since there weren't many photos of the interior, but it's a great bag. The scale was perfect and fits everything I need. Seems well made so far and looks great as well.
I bought my first Troop
Bag while living in York, 2008. That bag went everywhere with me and held everything important to me. Fabulous bag! Unfortunately in April 2025 i had to retire it. So i bought the same one from Troop but a different colour. I have had it now almost a month and i just love it. I get lots of compliments. Now living in Canada.
Excellent quality bag at half the price I'd expect to pay for other brands. Lots of room inside.
