I looked at all of the small Troop bags before selecting this one. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The purple color is so pretty--rich but subtle shade that goes well with many other colors. The bag is perfectly sized for an every-day casual bag and the pockets are just right for holding phone, small wallet, glasses, keys, and a few other small items. Love the long adjustable strap and tough but chic canvas fabric. Beautiful, durable bag for the price.
Bag is great. Bought to replace an early Troop bag that was very similar but the strap kept wearing through. Most dissappointed that we had to order online with no local stockists. I took an eternity to go through a cumbersome website to try and find the right type of bag in the correct size.
As with all the Troop products I have bought over the years, my new backpack is well made, excellent material, with plenty of space and when I come to use it travelling I am sure it will be hard wearing, and live up to my expectations plus well worth the money. Thank you Troop.

This will be my third Troop bag over the years and all I can say is they are hard wearing and stand up to being the only bag I use daily. I love, it loads of room, lots of places to put things in fact I had to buy a bigger one than usual because I have so much in it!
I have been searching for the perfect bag for years and have finally found it. It is roomy enough for all my things and has pockets for my phone/keys as well. I'm disabled and drive a mobility scooter so need to have my bag across my body to keep my things safe. Previous bags have been uncomfortable on my neck and shoulders, but not this one.

Perfect little bag. This must be my 3rd Troop bag in the past 10 years. Various sizes and shapes. I even bought an A4 sized one for my dad when he admired mine! This little cross body bag is of the same good quality as the others. I love it!
Over the years I have bought many Troop bags for myself and family members. This is my first 236 and it ticks all my boxes: external and internal compartments, inner pockets, expansion zip. Brilliant! and I look forward to its durability. Thank you!
Great little everyday bag! Love it! Nice and sturdy with useful pockets, and I especially like the strap which is a decent width and so very comfortable to wear. I'm delighted with my purchase.
The bag is fine, I am disappointed that the bag is made in China. Silly me, I assumed wrongly that a bag that says Troon London would actually be made in the U.K. my bad I should researched it.
Its a replacement for my old one that I bought in 2022 which gave up the ghost due to to constant use. I would always buy Troop again.

Just received my new burgundy small backpack and it’s every bit as good as the last one. Strong, reliable, pretty available colours, perfect size with exactly the right amount of zipped pockets. Be in touch again in another 10 years! 🤣
Fits a 17 inch laptop perfectly and both laptop and books are well protected from rainy weather due to the zipper and overhanging flap. Coincidentally, my 500 ml water bottle neatly fits upright in the front compartment making for efficient space packing. If your commute involves a bike at some point it can be a bit of a chore to adjust the strap every time to carry it on your back. Overall great bag and very happy with it. If ordering from the EU, keep in mind the import duties can be expensive (€40 in my case), but for me still worth it regarding the lack of feasible alternatives on the continent.

I bought my small rucksack as a replacement for a handbag - leaving me hands free, about 10 years ago and it has been amazing. Tough, durable, pretty turquoise colour and so useful. Looking for another now as the main zip is starting to split occasionally.

This one fills my needs perfect. Quiet narrow so I don't bump in to people on the bus or in the subway. Plenty of storage though, two large zippered compartments on the front are great, perfect for your book, ereader, tablet, headphones, bike lights, keys etc. Really nice material and the best part, you don't look like a mountaineer.

I purchased this for myself after having a lackluster-to-miserable experience with a similar bag from another brand. The Troop London Classic Canvas Across Body Bag (I purchased the blue one) is perfect for my needs. I love the color. But what sets this bag apart from others is the quality of materials: the strong canvas and the brass-plated and leather details/trim. Here in Missoula, Montana (US), I'm getting many compliments on the bag. But what really counts is the bag's superb quality. It is worth every penny I paid for it; the timely (and free) shipping was a plus. This was my first Troop purchase; I expect to make other purchases in the future.
