Helpful without the headache!
I accidentally ordered the wrong item from their fantastic messenger bag line.
Troop London provided streamlined support and was very obliging in fixing my mistake.

Bit smaller than expected, wantwd to put crwdit, debit cards in, but just a fraction too small to get a few in comfortably. Good for coins.
The bag is strong and well made, there are so many useful compartments it will be perfect for both travelling and walking. I love it, but there are a couple of things worth noting. The brown colour was quite a bit darker than the photo, making it appear more "utility" looking than "smart" as I'd hoped. The seam in the front compartment, sitting just inside the zip, sticks up quite a bit, this makes it a little tricky closing the zip and feels as though it could get trapped in the zip. I have spent some time flattening it to try and prevent that. Despite these two small issues, it is a great bag , well made, looks good and I would buy more from troop.
I got fed up with stuffing so many things in my pockets, as men do: at various times wallet, phone, house keys, car keys, hankies, gloves, mints, cash (for council car parks), pocket diary, pen, moisturiser etc. I have a briefcase but it’s a big item to carry so I sought a small ‘man bag’ for everyday use. This is good quality, practical and at the same time stylish. It sits over the shoulder leaving hands free. It’s deep enough for most items and the front, back inner and phone pockets make it easy to find them. I’m very happy with it.
This is the nicest across body bag I've ever had. It's beautiful and it FEELS like a top shelf product. It's substantial, holds what I need to have with me. I love it.
Love Troop bags and this one also lives up to the same standard. Waxed so it is waterproof and looks classy in black
The bag is well made from strong material. Pocket sizes are good. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars is the lack of a strap handle behind the top zip.My last bag had one which made it easier to carry in the hand without using the shoulder strap.
Item is rather expensive but was able to purchase during a sale period.
It's well made but the description of inner material as 'cotton with PU coating isn't clear in meaning. Strap is broad. Zips work and enable the base of the bag to be widened. The use of Velcro for fastenings isn't great as they cling to garments etc
and accumulate 'fluff'. Have sprayed with waterproofing. Nothing to get excited about but satisfactory.
Well made, sturdy cross body bag. Has enough little compartments for my everyday needs. Strap is adjustable and long enough to fit comfortably. Colour fits with most outfits so I don't have to keep swapping and changing. I'm very happy with it so far.

This is the second time I have bought this model it’s a brilliant roomy bag and offers me plenty of room for my essentials.
Seriously excellent messenger bags. I have used them for years and was so impressed I bought some for my family and they are all still in use. Highly recommended.
This is a nice looking bag, good external dimensions, unfussy style but rather stiff and inflexible. Could have been a bit deeper too. Can only put flat items in because of inflexibility.
Sturdy with plenty of compartments however, the prong does not always stay flat on the buckle and have caught coat sleeve a couple of times.
Bought to use as hand luggage and it's perfect. Plenty of secure pockets for passport & wallet (no more rummaging around) and roomy enough for duty free purchases.
It looks good too. Very well made and feels really sturdy. I'm very pleased with it.
I wasn't sure at first. It isn't a pretty bag! Then I started using it and I really like it. I like the different compartments and can find things more easily. I used it in the rain and the waxed surface repelled the water. It's really good for everyday use which is what I wanted.
Superb quality bumbag and it’s comfortable to wear. The buckle is not flimsy at all with a decent snap. Space wise it has enough for my items easily. Only thing that I need to get used to is, when open, the front and top zips are on the right, the back zip when open is on the left so whenever I’m out and I’m checking all zips re still secured closed I have to remind myself the back zip opens/closes the opposite way to the other two. Would love to know of there is a reason for this.
Love this little bag as I don’t like to carry a lot and it takes phone, purse, glasses and passport easily but the rear zip is coming apart and I’ve only had it for a year and a half, expected it to last longer. Sadly can’t add a photo

Second purchase of this style- just a colour change. My first bag lasted years and was still good when I sadly changed it. Very strong material and adjustable strap with lots of great secure storage areas for all my bits and pieces. Excellent value for money. Well recommended.
